]]> When we hear the word “mourn,” many of us automatically correlate it with feelings of sadness. But when Jesus says, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted,” this is much more than generic sadness.

Jesus, here, is talking about a much deeper grief that is inconsolable. All of us feel a deep sense of loss at perhaps a job, relationship, status, etc. And what we do in these moments matters, because we should never have to mourn alone.

Kevin takes this message and touches on how we can mourn well, and also come alongside one another and mourn together.

Mike Breaux speaks on grief in this message and, specifically, how Jesus dealt with it and how King David dealt with it in one of his most quoted and well-known “beats” in Psalm 23. No matter the gravity of our loss, God stays right by our side and walks with us.
