We kick off the new year with a new series based on the book “Creatures of Habit” by Pastor/Author Steve Poe. And what better way to do so, than to have Steve Poe himself? In this message, Steve kicks off the series with the topic of anger. Anger is not always a bad thing. In fact, anger is a God-given emotion, and it’s designed to help us deal with any threat that might come into our life. So, anger is not the problem. The problem is when we lose control of our words or our actions. Diving into that, Steve uses Jesus as a model of how to express our anger, yet not let it get away from us. He also goes into what angers God and how our priorities can be aligned on those same things in order for us to be better followers of Jesus, but also better humans in general.
